LFOLK is an administrative system for the municipal-level registration of citizens. It utilises, and also works as an extension of, the National Citizen Registry. Through managing relevant citizen information, the system provides an essential baseline at the municipal level.
The system features a web-service layer that enables other registries to extract information relevant to municipal services. These include childcare services and the distribution of municipality-administered recycling bags.
The system generates statistics describing age distribution, births and other aspects of the municipality’s population.
Integration with several other external national registries is incorporated into the system.
